Investigation and potential lawsuit against Ford Motor Company for the design and sale of Ford Crown Victoria, Lincoln Town Car and the Mercury Grand Marquise with model years between 1992 through 2001.
Commonly used as police cruisers and limousines, these vehicles have been implicated in numerous fatal post crash fuel fed fires. When the vehicle is rear-ended in a foreseeable collision, the fuel system is too easily ruptured and the fuel leakage leads to a fire. In numerous incidents, the occupants have burned to death while trapped in the wreckage. Others survive with their horrible burn injuries.
