Ongoing investigation and pending class action lawsuit against MemberWorks on behalf of all persons in the U.S. who were charged on their bank, home mortgage, or debit accounts for any MemberWorks membership, and on behalf of all California residents who were charged on their credit cards for Trilegiant memberships. MemberWorks establishes subscriptions for its membership programs in consumers’ names without their informed consent, and also impedes consumers’ ability to cancel these memberships. MemberWorks memberships are marketed under a number of different names, include “Simply You,” “Homeworks Plus,” “Galleria,” “24 Assistance,” “24 Protect Plus,” “Lifestyle Rewards,” “Health Plus,” “Simple Escapes,” “Passport to Fun,” “Privacy Plus,” and “Privacy Matters.” Vertue has acquired MemberWorks.
