Apple's MacBook Pro lap top computer with the ATI Radeon X1600 graphics card might suffer from a defective design that may cause the LCD screen to appear grainy or display horizontal lines.
This is an investigation and potential consumer class action lawsuit against Apple, Inc. in connection with its MacBook Pro computer that contains the ATI Radeon X1600 graphics card.
Apple Inc. manufactures, markets and sells a variety of brands of personal computers including the MacBook Pro computers. MacBook Pro is a line of lap top computers.
Based upon reports from consumers, the investigation to date has revealed that certain MacBook Pro computers containing the ATI Radeon X1600 graphics card are prone to problems with the LCD screen that results in a grainy appearance, and sometimes, the presence of horizontal lines on the screen display.
