Tyson Foods may have used antibiotic Ionophores in its chicken feed and then misled US consumers by labelig its chicken products as "raised without antibiotics."
.
Investigation and pending class action against Tyson Foods for its business practice of labeling its chicken products as "raised without antibiotics."
This consumer class action lawsuit alleges that Tyson Foods made this statement on all its packaged chicken products even though at all times Tyson Foods knew that Tyson's chicken feed ingredients include commonly-used antimicrobials known as ionophores. Some evidence also exists that Tyson injected its chicken eggs with a hormone as well.
