Skpe provides a voice over internet protocol, which allows a user to make telephone calls over the internet. While free to users making telephone calls between Skype account holders, Skpe does charge a fee for calls made between a Skpe account holder and a non Skpe customer. One mode of funding such usage is for Skpe customers to fund a Store Value Account fund, which operates similar to a gift card. Skpe seizes all amount remaining on store value account funds 180 after the last day of usage.
