Commonly used as police cruisers and limousines, these vehicles have been implicated in numerous fatal post crash fuel fed fires. When the vehicle is rear-ended in a foreseeable collision, the fuel system is too easily ruptured and the fuel leakage leads to a fire. In numerous incidents, the occupants have burned to death while trapped in the wreckage. Others survive with their horrible burn injuries.
