Investigation and potential lawsuit against Nissan for Nissan's design, manufacture and sale of the Nissan Altima for model years 1994 though 1995. The passenger side air bag in this popular sedan deploys too far in the direction of the occupant and has caused over 50 serious eye injuries, including blindness. Nissan knew about this defect for many years before issuing a recall.
