Investigation and potential class action lawsuit against Apple Inc.
The current investigation is focused on Apple's MacBook and MacBook Pro with Penryn-Class Core 2 Duo processors.
Apple Inc. manufactures and sells the MacBook and MacBook Pro line of personal computers. The investigation has revealed that the graphics display on the MacBooks can become corrupted, resulting in lines of text repeating themselves and graphics scrolling incompletely. This issue occurs when a consumer is scrolling documents or web pages and has been found in Apple Webkit-based applications such as, Safari and Mail. Further, consumers have found flickering in the MacBooks' screens where there is animation or by performing a screen refresh. This problem occurs frequently when watching videos with Flash or Quicktime.
If you own a MacBook with Intel's GMA3100 graphics chipset or a MacBook Pro with the NVIDIA 8600M GT chipset, and are experiencing a faulty graphics display, we would like to hear from you.
