This is an investigation and pending class action against the dominant producers of chocolate confectionary products, including The Hershey Company; Nestle, S.A.; Mars, Inc.; and Cadbury Schweppes, plc. The United States Department of Justice and the Canadian Competition Bureau are investigating the defendants. The class action lawsuit is based upon allegations that the manufacturers engaged in a conspiracy to fix prices for chocolate confectionary products.
