Investigation Details
After 2006, federal law prohibits vendors and retailers from issuing receipts that contain the full credit card number and expiration date of the customer's card. This is simply to protect against theft. This is an investigation and pending class action lawsuits against Rave Motion Pictures; Boston Ventures, LP; Surin West restaurants; and Ticketmaster as each defendant issued receipts that included private information of the consumer after 2006.
