Investigation and pending class action lawsuit against International Paper on behalf of property owners near an International Paper plant in Cantonment, Florida.

The class action lawsuit contends that the plant is allowing "fly ash" to escape from its property and trespass onto property owned by members of the class action lawsuit. The fly ash coats the plaintiffs' real and personal property with a black dust. In addition, the fly ash contains arsenic, a potentially dangerous substance that is deposited on the plaintiffs' properties.

This class action seeks to represent these property owners who, through no fault of their own, are being exposed to arsenic through the deposit of the fly ash.
