Investigation and pending class action lawsuit against Sanofi - Aventis alleging that employees did not receive wages and overtime pay as required by the federal Fair Labor Standards Act and Missouri state law.
This class action lawsuit alleges that the work duties that the Aventis workers at the Kansas City, Missouri facility that they have not been paid for include:
(1) changing into the required sterile clothing and safety equipment that can include, among other things (depending on the task): sterile scrubs, transition shoes, protective jumpsuits, safety glasses, hair nets, beard guards and protective booties; and
(2) walking to and from the changing area, work areas and break areas.
If you worked for Sanofi -- Aventis as an hourly employee in the last three years, you may be eligible to participate in the legal action we are pursuing.
