Affinity Logistics is a shipping and transportation company that focusing on delivering the last 5 miles to a customers doorstep. As such, Affinity hired workers to make deliveries , with the job description "Truck Driver" or "Delivery Man". Affinity Logistics labeled Truck Drivers and Delivery Men as independent contractors thereby refusing to to afford their employees the benefits entitle to employees under US laws. This action seeks to reclassify these employees and to reimburse them for expenses Affinity wrongfully required them pay out of their own pockets, including uniforms, worker's compensation insurance, truck leases and fuel.
